April's softer activity affected all tiers of the rankings, with the largest absolute declines concentrated in the U.S. and the leading European markets.

Americas Dominance The Americas region accounts for 75.5% of global departures across 35 countries. The U.S. remains dominant with 170,410 flights (-22.87% MoM from March), Mexico contributed 6,901 (-22.16% MoM), and Canada posted 4,694 (-35.61% MoM). Caribbean destinations also pulled back from elevated March levels, with Bahamas (2,453) leading the region's tier-2 markets as leisure travel demand normalized.

Emerging Market Trends Rest of World encompasses 134 countries and contributes 11.44% of departures in April 2026. Brazil leads with 8,179 flights (-2.00% MoM), followed by India (2,520, -9.61% MoM) and Australia (2,138, -13.48% MoM). The post-Easter normalization affected most emerging markets but with milder declines than NA/EU. China contributed 1,808 departures, while UAE recorded 345 flights and Saudi Arabia 575 as Middle East activity continued near recent run rates.
