Year-over-year, the region held broadly flat at -0.41% against June 2025's 27,423 departures. The MoM dip runs counter to Europe's seasonal uplift, reflecting ROW's Southern-Hemisphere-weighted mix as several of its markets enter their quieter winter season.

The region's 9.29% global share was little changed as North America softened and Europe gained on summer strength. ROW's steadier profile reflects its diverse geographic composition spanning South America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, where seasonal drivers vary independently of Northern Hemisphere cycles.

Seasonal Pattern Recognition The 13-month trend shows Rest of World seasonality differs from Northern Hemisphere patterns: Dec 2025's 34,538 departures marked the annual peak. June 2026's 27,310 sits just below June 2025's 27,423, essentially flat YoY. The region's narrower seasonal range (26.1K-34.5K) makes month-to-month variations less dramatic than for NA or EU.

Market Dynamics Brazil led ROW activity with 6,946 departures (25.45% of the region, 2.36% global), followed by Turkey (2,452) and Australia (2,128). Turkey advanced (+11.25% MoM) while Brazil eased (-12.44% MoM) and Australia softened (-4.10% MoM). Fast-growing markets including the United Arab Emirates (+59.27% MoM), Israel (+28.00%) and South Korea (+13.48%) provided offsetting strength.

The region's diverse geographic composition means June sees offsetting seasonal effects — Southern Hemisphere winter easing set against steady Middle Eastern activity and rising Gulf demand. This diversification explains ROW's contained MoM softening relative to North America's decline.

July Outlook June 2025's 27,423 baseline has been effectively matched. YTD Jan-June 2026 stands at 172,199 flights, +5.91% above Jan-June 2025's 162,587, providing a solid cushion. The region's structural growth trajectory remains intact, with summer Northern Hemisphere demand historically supporting steady ROW activity through Q3.
