The top 20 countries capture approximately 91.3% of all departures, while countries ranked 21-80 collectively contribute around 27K flights. March's longer calendar and broad seasonal rebound drove substantial volume gains across all tiers of the rankings.
Americas Dominance The Americas region accounts for 75.9% of global departures across 35 countries. The U.S. remains dominant with 244,946 flights (+66.41% MoM from February), Mexico contributed 9,192 (+46.23% MoM), and Canada posted 7,943 (+104.35% MoM). Caribbean destinations showed extraordinary spring strength with Bahamas (3,812, +133.72% MoM) leading the region's rebound as leisure travel demand accelerated.
Emerging Market Trends Rest of World encompasses 137 countries and contributes 9.18% of departures in March 2026. Brazil leads with 8,307 flights (+87.47% MoM), followed by India (2,862, +80.45% MoM) and Australia (2,514, +18.58% MoM). The spring rebound lifted virtually all emerging markets, with Argentina (1,924, +256.96% MoM) posting the strongest regional growth. China contributed 1,803 departures, while the UAE continued at 287 flights as Middle East activity normalized following the February trough.
