The top 20 countries capture approximately 93% of all departures, while countries ranked 21-80 collectively contribute around 20,200 flights. February's shorter month and seasonal factors compressed activity broadly, with the US share rising due to proportionally smaller declines in domestic flying compared to international markets.

Americas Dominance The Americas region accounts for 77.3% of global departures across 35 countries. While the U.S. remains dominant with 146,811 flights, its absolute volume declined 18.4% month-over-month as February's shorter calendar and post-January normalization took effect. Caribbean destinations continue to show seasonal strength, with Sint Maarten, Turks & Caicos, and Bahamas maintaining elevated rankings driven by ongoing winter leisure travel demand.

Emerging Market Trends Rest of World encompasses 119 countries and contributes 9.3% of departures, reflecting contraction from January's 11.7% as markets like Brazil and India saw sharp month-over-month declines. Brazil leads with 4,415 flights, followed by Australia (2,120) and India (1,587). The Middle East continues to show resilience with the UAE maintaining its position despite regional headwinds, while China posted 1,432 departures amid ongoing Lunar New Year travel patterns.
