Business jet activity at Vilnius EYVI is climbing steadily, coinciding with a large MRO investment landing in the same period—but the two are not directly related. Avi-Go data shows that in the nearly 90 days from May 10 to August 7, 2026, EYVI business jet movements reached 391, up 17.8% from 332 in the same period last year, with landings up 22.9% and departures up 13.1%; the active fleet stood at 123 aircraft, up 11.8% year-on-year, and per-aircraft utilization rose from 3.02 to 3.18 movements per aircraft. It should be noted that GetJet's subsidiary Airhub won a 40-year lease on an 11,200-square-meter plot at VNO on August 5, 2026, planning to invest approximately EUR 25 million to build an MRO hangar, with an adjacent plot slated for a EUR 10 million second phase; according to public reports, the facility is positioned for maintenance of A320-series and 737-series narrowbody commercial aircraft, serving GetJet's own wet-lease fleet, and is not a business jet maintenance hub.
