Avi-Go data shows that Malaysia's business aviation movements accumulated to 3,876 operations from January to May 2026, rising steadily from 637 in January to 841 in May, a net increase of 32.0% over five months. Aircraft type distribution clearly reveals market preferences: the G550 (389 movements), G650ER (321 movements), and G450 (207 movements) — three Gulfstream models — collectively account for over 60% of the Top 5 total, with large-cabin long-range demand dominating the market. The King Air 350i ranked in the Top 5 with 319 movements, indicating that regional short-haul business flying remains equally active. Notably, Malaysia's business aviation traffic is highly concentrated at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (WMSA/Subang) rather than the commercially dominant Kuala Lumpur International Airport (WMKK, which recorded only 35 business aviation movements in the same period, down 38.6% year-on-year), reflecting a clear differentiation in the positioning of the two airports.
