✈️ More Than 1,000 KTMB Aircraft Movements Provide a Benchmark for Attracting Tenants to the Aviation Complex
Ocean Aviation can use recent business aircraft activity at KTMB Airport as a reference for its tenant-attraction projections, but airport-wide business aircraft movements and the number of customers the complex can capture are different measures. Avi-Go data show that from September 11 to October 9, 2026, KTMB recorded 771 business aircraft departures and 753 arrivals, for a total of 1,524 movements; each departure or arrival counts as one movement. These figures cover the entire KTMB airport and are not broken down by complex or FBO. They are therefore suitable as an airport traffic benchmark before the facilities enter service, not as a measure of the complex’s customer base or expected usage.
Impact: The 1,524 movements give Ocean Aviation a quantitative picture of airport activity at KTMB over the most recent 29 days. Using that figure directly as the customer base for tenant-revenue projections, however, would also count traffic handled by other facilities. The business the complex can reach should be presented separately from total airport traffic.
Recommendation: Ocean Aviation can clearly label KTMB’s 1,524 movements as “airport business aircraft movements” in its tenant-attraction materials and separately state the service scope and conversion assumptions used to estimate the complex’s customer base. This would avoid applying an airport-wide measure directly to the complex’s revenue forecast.
