✈️ Falcon 10X Gathers 3,300 on Waitlist, While G700 and Global 8000 Have Built Scale Barriers
Avi-Go data shows that although the Dassault Falcon 10X is slated for its first flight in June 2026, targeting certification in 2027, and has already accumulated over 3,300 waitlist customers, its ultra-long-range competitors have during the same period established considerable installed-base advantages: among globally active flights from January to July 2026, the G650 reached 230 aircraft (10,943 records) and the Global 7500 reached 226 aircraft (14,545 records), holding firm as the two mainstays, while the G700 numbered only 70 aircraft and the Falcon 8X 111 aircraft. The Global 8000, which only entered service in December 2025, numbered just 2 aircraft with a combined 104 flights. All three models are absolutely centered on the United States (G650 U.S. flights: 6,550; Global 7500 U.S. flights: 6,847), with China being the most important market in Asia.
Impact: The Falcon 10X waitlist primarily captures the intent of wait-and-see buyers rather than near-term capacity, and before certification in 2027 it will struggle to shake the first-mover scale advantages of the G700 and Global 7500. A waitlist does not equal confirmed orders, and actual conversion remains to be seen.
Recommendation: Prospective buyers should complete model price comparisons and delivery scheduling assessments before Q4 2026, securing an early delivery position for the 10X while retaining in-service G700/Global 7500 aircraft as transitional capacity. OEMs and brokers can strengthen trade-in and value-retention offerings targeting wait-and-see customers in the second half of 2026, converting waitlist intent into executable orders.
