169-Flight Gap Is Not a Capacity Decline

AVI-GO Intelligence · · Interactive version with charts

⚠️ POINT TO POINT AIR flight records were filtered differently across the two periods

The flight records for POINT TO POINT AIR LLC were retrieved using different aircraft filters for the two periods, so the difference between the counts should not be described as a decline in business jet flights. According to Avi-Go data, counting each complete flight segment as one flight, the operator returned 401 flights from August 6 to September 4, 2026, with no restriction on aircraft type. From September 5 to October 4, 2026, it returned 232 flights, but that query counted only business jets. The periods differ by 169 flights, but the first covered a broader range of aircraft, so the difference does not represent a change in business jet flight volume. The counts for registration N78711 were 109 and 41 flights, respectively, and those for N20487 were 98 and 68 flights, respectively; these comparisons are likewise affected by the different filters.

Impact: When comparing POINT TO POINT AIR LLC’s fleet and customer activity across the two periods, the 401 and 232 flights can each be reported as the records for their respective windows, but they cannot be combined to calculate changes in business jet demand or capacity. Using the 169-flight difference directly in customer communications or fleet planning could cause records covering different aircraft categories to be mistaken for a continuous change in the same type of business.

Recommendation: When preparing a two-period operating comparison, POINT TO POINT AIR LLC should label the periods “no restriction on aircraft type” and “business jets only,” respectively. It should then retrieve the flight records for each registration from August 6 to September 4, 2026, and September 5 to October 4, 2026, using the same filters before comparing business jet flight volume across the two periods.
