According to local reports, GJEP and Industrial Developments Inc. each presented West Star with a check for 123,000 USD on July 14, 2026, totaling 246,000 USD, as the local match for Colorado's Strategic Fund job growth incentive. The newly built 109,000-square-foot hangar is expected to be completed by the end of October 2026, adding approximately 200 jobs within two and a half years, primarily dedicated to jet MRO capacity. Avi-Go data shows that from January 1 to July 16, 2026, KGJT recorded 4,890 business aircraft movements, up 4.3% from 4,689 during the same period in 2025.
