✈️ United Aviation Enters Palma’s Peak-Season Market Through Mallorcair

United Aviation Services completed its acquisition of Spanish FBO Mallorcair on August 11, 2026. Mallorcair will retain its brand and management team and continue to operate independently at Palma Airport. Avi-Go data show that from July 15 to August 14, 2026, Palma Airport recorded 1,070 business aviation arrivals. Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy accounted for a combined 819 arrivals, or 76.5%, highlighting a distinct short-haul Western European customer base.

Impact: The acquisition gives United Aviation direct access to Palma’s high-traffic summer market. The strong concentration across the five leading origin countries also provides Mallorcair with clear guidance for refining multilingual ground services and customer relationship management.

Recommendation: Mallorcair can adjust its customer service language coverage and partnership channels based on the ranking of origin markets: Spain with 284 arrivals, France with 153, the United Kingdom with 137, Germany with 134, and Italy with 111. Going forward, the focus should be on tracking the arrival mix and peak-season operational performance following completion of the acquisition.
