🛫 UAE Long-Haul Business Jet Flights Cool in July: 223 Movements, Down 23.4% Year-on-Year
Intercontinental capacity during the Gulf region's summer peak season showed no rebound, instead weakening markedly. Avi-Go data shows that in July 2026, long-haul business jet flights departing from the UAE with flight durations exceeding 300 minutes totaled 223 movements, down 23.4% year-on-year from 291 movements in the same period of 2025 (both sides are complete calendar months, on a comparable basis). Among operators, Royal Jet led with 28 movements, followed closely by Vista Jet with 21 and Avcon Jet with 12; at the aircraft type level, the Boeing BBJ led with 41 movements, followed by the Global 6000 (29 movements) and the Global 7500 (15 movements).
Impact: The decline in long-haul capacity will simultaneously compress summer peak-season demand for fuel supply and long-range route ground handling providers in the Gulf region, putting pressure on high-value intercontinental segment revenue for major long-haul operators such as Royal Jet and Vista Jet.
Recommendation: Gulf region FBOs and fuel suppliers can track whether August long-haul movements continue July's downward trend, and adjust peak-season supply inventory and staff scheduling accordingly, avoiding over-provisioning based on previous years' peak-season benchmarks.
