🌏 Top Three Manila International Routes Separated by Just Two Flights
Manila’s international business aviation flights primarily connected with Asian cities from July to August 2026, with Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo ranking highest. Avi-Go data show that from July 1 to August 31, based on bidirectionally combined, non-directional city pairs and counting each completed flight as one movement, Manila–Singapore recorded 15 movements, while Manila–Hong Kong and Manila–Tokyo each recorded 13 movements, leaving a maximum difference of just two movements among the top three city pairs. Bangkok and Jakarta recorded nine and eight movements, respectively, bringing the top five routes to a combined 58 movements. Further down the ranking, Sapporo recorded five movements and Macau four, while Osaka, Sydney, Hanoi, Taipei, Anchorage, and Ho Chi Minh City each recorded two. This indicates that high-frequency connections during the period were concentrated among a small number of Asian cities, alongside multiple low-frequency destinations.
Impact: The top three city pairs generated a combined 41 movements, accounting for 70.7% of flight volume among the top five city pairs. This provides brokers with a direct basis for designing inquiry workflows for Manila round trips to Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Bangkok and Jakarta generated a combined 17 movements, also forming a secondary demand pool for permit processing, ground connections, and quotation response. As the observation period covered only two months, these rankings reflect the route mix from July to August 2026 and do not represent the long-term structure.
Recommendation: Brokers and ground handling providers serving international business aviation operations at RPLL can establish differentiated quotation templates for the Singapore city pair with 15 movements and the Hong Kong and Tokyo city pairs with 13 movements each, incorporating destination-specific permit documentation, ground transportation, and connecting itinerary arrangements. They should subsequently track the flight volumes and ranking changes of the top three city pairs monthly to determine whether this closely matched traffic pattern continues.
