SAEZ International Share Reaches 59.1%

AVI-GO Intelligence · · Interactive version with charts

🌍 International Missions Account for 59.1% of SAEZ Operations

On August 12, 2026, Ministro Pistarini International Airport (SAEZ) confirmed that FBO VIP Club has a dedicated entrance, permanent facilities for VIP passengers and crew, and on-site customs and immigration clearance. Universal Aviation Argentina also provides 24-hour ground handling and customs coordination. Earlier, on August 6, 2026, the joint civil-military El Palomar Airport (SADP) confirmed that it can support general aviation and charter flights, offering 24-hour FBO-style ground services, fueling, permits, and customs and immigration coordination, with VIP services available on request. Avi-Go data show that from July 23 to August 21, 2026, based on an airport movement-counting methodology in which each takeoff or landing counts as one movement, SAEZ recorded 88 movements, including 24 international arrivals and 28 international departures. International arrivals and departures totaled 52 movements, accounting for 59.1%. SADP recorded 11 movements during the same period. The two airports differ significantly in facility configuration and observed business aircraft traffic, but airport selection for Buenos Aires missions should also include San Fernando Airport (SADF), with Jorge Newbery Airport (SABE) considered depending on operating conditions.

Impact: SAEZ’s 52 international movements and on-site clearance facilities make it an important option for international mission planning during this period. SADP’s small sample of only 11 movements makes it more suitable for mission-by-mission arrangements based on specific operating requirements, rather than for allocating routine resources according to its traffic share.

Recommendation: Operations teams conducting international and regional missions to Buenos Aires should place SAEZ’s on-site clearance, SADP’s on-request VIP services, and the parking and handling conditions at SADF and SABE on the same airport-selection checklist. Future monitoring should focus on SAEZ’s international traffic share and SADF’s movement mix during the same period.
