✈️ 80% of Royal Jet's Flights Anchored in the Gulf, Limited Evidence of European Expansion
Avi-Go data shows that Royal Jet, a native operator based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, completed 1,596 movements between January 1 and July 20, 2026. Of these, only 314 were to European destinations, accounting for 19.67%, with over 80% concentrated in the Middle East home market. Among arrival cities, Abu Dhabi led with 221 movements, representing about 53.3% of the Top 10 arrival cities (415 in total); London with 26, and Athens and Geneva with 16 each, were the only three European cities to make the list. On a monthly basis, March plunged to 50 movements, the lowest of the entire period, before gradually stabilizing in Q2. From July 1 to 20, the daily average was about 14.4 movements, higher than June's roughly 6.6, reflecting a recovery in summer charter demand. The data indicates that its business remains strongly anchored in Gulf VIP head-of-state flights and home-market charters, with support for expansion beyond Europe still limited.
