AVI-GO Intelligence · · Interactive version with charts

✈️ Prague Accounts for 57.4% of Traffic Across Three Airports

Václav Havel Airport Prague (LKPR) accounted for more than half of recent business aviation activity across three Central and Eastern European airports. Avi-Go data show that from June 27, 2026, to August 25, 2026, LKPR recorded 1,130 business jet departures and 1,131 arrivals, totaling 2,261 movements and representing 57.4% of the combined 3,938 movements at LKPR, Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (LHBP), and Warsaw Chopin Airport (EPWA). During the same period, LHBP recorded 1,090 movements, including 551 departures and 539 arrivals, while EPWA recorded 587 movements, including 296 departures and 291 arrivals. At the airport level, each departure or arrival is counted as one movement. During this 60-day window, LKPR recorded 1,171 and 1,674 more business aviation movements than LHBP and EPWA, respectively, providing a clear lead-prioritization order for service providers conducting sales across the three airports.

Impact: For FBOs, charter brokers, and maintenance service providers covering Prague, Budapest, and Warsaw, LKPR’s 57.4% share of traffic across the three airports means it is the most suitable primary location for near-term client outreach and service conversion. LHBP’s 1,090 movements still represent a second tier of demand that can support differentiated quotations and cross-airport itinerary coordination.

Recommendation: Relevant service providers can reorder their sales follow-up priorities based on the 2,261, 1,090, and 587 movements at LKPR, LHBP, and EPWA, respectively, and continue tracking the traffic shares and departure-arrival mix across the three airports in September 2026 to determine whether Prague can sustain its majority concentration.
