✈️ NetJets Europe Capacity Shifts South, France Departures Surge 35% to Take the Top Spot

Avi-Go data shows that NetJets Europe expanded by approximately 16.1% month-over-month in June 2026, with France departures jumping from 915 flights in May to 1,236 flights (+35.1%), overtaking the UK (1,007 flights, -0.9%) to claim the top position; Greece also grew 35.8% to 224 flights. At the city-pair level, Paris→Nice (46 flights), Madrid→Palma (20 flights) and other Southern European resort routes newly entered the top ten, while Paris↔Nice bidirectional flights rose from 48 to 79 combined. According to the 2026-05 monthly report, France led Europe with 9,927 flights, up 34.90% year-over-year, confirming the peak-season pull of the Riviera and Mediterranean leisure routes. The market's center of gravity is shifting from the spring UK/France commuter corridors to the summer Mediterranean leisure routes.

Impact: NetJets is concentrating capacity toward Mediterranean hubs such as Nice and Palma, creating summer peak pressure on local FBO ground handling and slot resources; demand on the UK/France commuter corridors has relatively declined, requiring operators to rebalance fleet deployment.

Recommendation: FBOs along the Mediterranean should lock in peak-season ground services and parking quotas at Nice and Palma within July 2026; brokers can focus on promoting Paris↔Nice and Iberian island point-to-point charters in July and August to capture the incremental window on leisure routes.
