📉 Le Bourget Provisionally Records 1,968 Fewer Movements Over the Past 30 Days
Takeoff and landing volumes recorded over the past 30 days at Paris Le Bourget Airport (LFPB), Paris’s primary business aviation airport, were both lower than in the preceding equal-length window. Avi-Go data show that, counting each takeoff and landing as one movement, LFPB provisionally recorded 1,700 takeoffs and 1,704 landings from July 25 to August 23, 2026, for a total of 3,404 movements; from June 25 to July 24, it recorded 2,705 takeoffs and 2,667 landings, respectively, for a total of 5,372 movements. Comparing the two windows, takeoffs decreased by 1,005 movements, down 37.2%; landings decreased by 963 movements, down 36.1%; and total movements decreased by 1,968, down 36.6%. The data are current as of August 25, 2026, only two days after the end of the later window, so these figures reflect only the difference between the windows based on currently available records.
Impact: The 3,404 movements recorded in the later window still correspond to a daily average of approximately 113 takeoffs and landings. Relevant service providers at Le Bourget can use this figure to verify the actual volume of services provided over the past 30 days, but should not adjust capacity allocation solely on the basis of the 36.6% difference between the windows. Takeoffs and landings decreased by 37.2% and 36.1%, respectively, showing similar direction and magnitude, and can serve as a comparative baseline for subsequently assessing whether the traffic trend continues.
Recommendation: Continue supplementing and verifying records from July 25 to August 23, while monitoring complete daily data on a rolling basis from August 24 onward. Once equal-length windows with a more sufficient interval between the data end date and the statistical cutoff date are available, use takeoff, landing, and total movement figures to determine whether staffing schedules and ground support arrangements at Le Bourget Airport should be adjusted.
