✈️ Business Aircraft Movements at Le Bourget Fell by 1,682 in August
Business aircraft activity at Paris–Le Bourget Airport (LFPB) was markedly lower in August 2026 than in July. Avi-Go data show that, on an airport-movement basis that counts each takeoff and each landing as one movement, the airport recorded 3,890 movements from August 1 to August 31, 2026, down 1,682, or 30.2%, from 5,572 movements from July 1 to July 31, 2026; both periods are full calendar months. By category, August saw 1,940 takeoffs and 1,950 landings, down 865 and 817, respectively, from July’s 2,805 takeoffs and 2,767 landings. Activity declined in both directions.
Impact: For FBOs at Le Bourget, the 1,682-movement difference between July and August means that staffing August on the basis of July’s business volume would have exceeded the month’s actual movement demand. Because takeoffs and landings fell by similar amounts, staffing and ground-service resources should be planned with reference to the monthly figures for both directions, rather than the total movement count alone.
Recommendation: FBOs at Le Bourget can use the 1,940 takeoffs and 1,950 landings recorded in August 2026 as benchmarks when reviewing that month’s staffing schedules, and update plans for subsequent months based on actual demand in the corresponding month. The point to watch is whether movements in subsequent full calendar months remain at August’s level or move back toward July’s 5,572 movements.
