📉 Las Vegas Arrivals Decrease by 497 Movements
Business aircraft takeoffs and landings at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport both declined across the two most recent complete 30-day windows, with arrivals recording the larger drop. Avi-Go data show that from July 25 to August 23, 2026, KLAS recorded 3,857 business aircraft movements, down 943, or 19.6%, from 4,800 movements between June 25 and July 24, 2026. At the airport level, each takeoff or landing is counted as one movement. By category, takeoffs fell 18.6%, from 2,395 to 1,949, while landings declined 20.7%, from 2,405 to 1,908, with both categories moving in the same direction.
Impact: The reduction of 943 movements within the consecutive 30-day windows indicates a corresponding contraction in demand for fueling, ground handling, and parking services at KLAS-related FBOs. The decrease of 497 landings will also directly affect passenger services beginning with arrival reception and the volume of subsequent support work.
Recommendation: KLAS-related FBOs can adjust near-term staffing schedules, fuel replenishment cycles, and parking stand allocations based on the decline in average daily business aircraft movements from 160 to approximately 129, avoiding continued use of the resource deployment pace from the previous window. They should also monitor whether arrivals and departures continue to move in tandem after August 24, 2026, before deciding whether to maintain these arrangements.
