KDAL Leads Business Jet Landings

AVI-GO Intelligence · · Interactive version with charts

✈️ Dallas Love Field Led Two Other Airports in Business Jet Landings in September

Among the three designated airports in September 2026, Dallas Love Field (KDAL) recorded the most business jet landings, exceeding both Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS) and Houston Hobby Airport (KHOU) by more than 1,000 landings. Avi-Go data show that from September 1 through September 30, 2026, KDAL recorded 3,883 landings, compared with 2,618 at KAUS and 2,509 at KHOU; KDAL had 1,265 and 1,374 more landings, respectively. This ranking compares landing activity at only these three airports. It excludes departures and does not represent traffic at all business aviation airports in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. Each landing counts as one movement; the figures are not deduplicated counts of visiting aircraft or customers.

Impact: For companies providing pickup services at KDAL, KAUS, and KHOU, September landing volumes indicate more pickup opportunities at KDAL. KAUS and KHOU had similar monthly volumes, differing by just 109 landings. Companies can use these figures to distinguish the operational workload at the three locations, but landings are not the same as service orders, so the figures cannot be used directly to estimate revenue at each location.

Recommendation: Companies providing pickup services across the airports can use KDAL’s 3,883 landings as a reference when reviewing September staffing schedules and vehicle-use records. They should check actual service orders and the distribution of peak days at each location before deciding whether to adjust staff rotations. For KAUS and KHOU, they should first compare the orders handled against their respective 2,618 and 2,509 landings, rather than change standing staffing or vehicle allocations based solely on the monthly difference of 109 landings.
