✈️ Istanbul↔Bodrum corridor down 14.3%, dramatic reshuffling among small and mid-sized operators

Avi-Go data shows that from June 19 to July 18, 2026, there were 318 total business jet movements in both directions between Istanbul↔Bodrum (Istanbul→Bodrum 155, Bodrum→Istanbul 163), down 14.3% from 371 in the same period of 2025, a decrease of 53 movements. Both periods use a full 30-day caliber. Local leaders Genel Havacilik (41 movements, down 12) and Set Air (29 movements, down 5) contracted by a combined 17 movements, accounting for about one-third of the decline. Meanwhile, the rankings saw dramatic reshuffling: Super Air, Airenka, and SOZJET, which were in the top ten in 2025, dropped out, while three newcomers—CKD Aviation, Dogan Air, and ARCA AERO—entered; BE AERO (up 9), Bikinijet (up 7), and Bonair (up 6) expanded against the trend.

Impact: This Mediterranean resort corridor saw total volume decline alongside share reallocation, with leading operators contracting to make room for newcomers, while small and mid-sized players fiercely competed for customers in a stock market.

Recommendation: Small and mid-sized operators planning to enter this corridor can lock in partners with clear upward momentum, such as BE AERO and Bikinijet, before the August 2026 peak season; leading operators should review their share loss points after the summer peak season ends in September and assess capacity allocation strategies.
