Ibiza, the western Mediterranean resort destination, has shown a cooling in premium travel at the start of the summer season. Avi-Go data shows that from June 1 to July 22, 2026, business jet movements at Ibiza (LEIB) totaled 4,325 (2,162 departures, 2,163 arrivals), a decrease of 466 movements compared to the same period in 2025, down 9.7%, with departures and arrivals declining at roughly equal rates. London was the largest source and destination market, ranking first in both directions with 144 inbound and 125 outbound movements; Nice, Madrid, Barcelona, Palma, and Milan formed the core market support.

Impact: The roughly 10% decline indicates that Ibiza is facing early-season traffic pressure, and the stability of the London–Ibiza core route in both directions has become a key pivot for operators to maintain utilization amid the overall contraction.

Recommendation: Operators and brokers serving the island should, ahead of the peak of the August high season, increase round-trip slot allocation and multi-leg quoting around the three major source markets of London, Nice, and Madrid; at the same time, they should closely track the actual booking recovery pace from late July to mid-August and dynamically adjust pricing and repositioning plans.
