✈️ Gulfstream Departure Hotspots Shift, While Teterboro Retains the Lead
Activity at the primary departure airports for Gulfstream aircraft contracted only slightly in July 2026, but the Top 10 list saw some turnover, with changes concentrated in airport distribution rather than overall activity. Avi-Go data shows that Gulfstream aircraft recorded a combined 4,609 departures from the Top 10 departure airports in July 2026, down by 202 departures, or 4.2%, from 4,811 in June. Teterboro Airport (KTEB), the primary business aviation airport serving New York, ranked first for the second consecutive month, recording 1,137 departures in July, down 8.7% from 1,246 in June. Its July total accounted for approximately 24.7% of the Top 10 combined volume. The composition of the list also changed: KFOK, KSNA, and KPDK entered the Top 10 in July, while LFMN, KDAL, and Paris Le Bourget Airport (LFPB), Paris’s primary business aviation airport, dropped out after appearing in June, indicating a rotation in Gulfstream activity among the leading airports during this period.
Impact: Teterboro’s monthly decline was greater than that of the Top 10 overall, but it retained a substantial lead, indicating that demand for Gulfstream-related ground support remains highly concentrated. Meanwhile, the entry of KFOK, KSNA, and KPDK into the rankings creates clearer aircraft-type-specific support requirements for local business aviation service providers. The two European airports appeared in the rankings only in June, suggesting that whether their Gulfstream activity can continue into the latter part of the summer remains to be seen.
Recommendation: Teterboro service providers should use July’s volume of 1,137 departures to review the allocation of Gulfstream-dedicated parking stands, towing equipment, and maintenance response capabilities. KFOK, KSNA, and KPDK should closely monitor whether they remain in the Top 10 from August through September 2026; if their rankings do not persist, long-term resources should not be added solely on the basis of a one-month change.
