Gestair’s Spain Departures Skew Domestic

AVI-GO Intelligence · · Interactive version with charts

✈️ Nearly 70% of Gestair’s departures from Spain stayed within the country

Gestair’s business jet flights departing Spain were predominantly bound for domestic destinations, while its cross-border flights were spread across several countries. Avi-Go data show that, from September 2 to September 25, 2026, the operator completed 249 flights departing Spain. Of these, 174 were bound for destinations within Spain, accounting for 69.9%, while 75 were bound for destinations outside Spain, accounting for 30.1%. The top five destination countries also included France with 16 flights, the United Kingdom with 11, Italy with 9, and Portugal with 8. These four countries accounted for 44 flights in total, or 58.7% of flights to destinations outside Spain. Each completed flight is counted as one flight. This distribution shows that, during the period, Gestair’s departures from Spain were primarily domestic, and France had the most flights among the listed cross-border destinations.

Impact: For Gestair’s cross-border sales team, the 75 flights to destinations outside Spain provide an existing flight base that can be examined by destination. France’s 16 flights exceeded the count for each of the other listed foreign destinations, making its route records a priority to review when approaching customers. These flight figures, however, reflect operational activity and should not be equated with sales revenue.

Recommendation: Gestair can organize its customer-contact records for France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Portugal separately and check them against the corresponding records for 16, 11, 9, and 8 flights, respectively. The next point to monitor is whether flight counts and rankings for these destinations remain consistent.
