Gestair’s flight volume declined significantly over consecutive full weeks from late July to mid-August 2026. Although the period from August 11 to August 17 recorded eight more flights than the previous week, volume remained at a relatively low level within the observed window. Avi-Go data shows that, counting each completed operator flight as one flight, the operator completed 889 business aviation flights from June 20 to August 18, 2026. The highest full-week total within the window was 149 flights from July 14 to July 20, followed by declines to 111, 89, and 53 flights, respectively. The August 4–10 total was down 64.4% from the peak, before recovering to 61 flights from August 11 to August 17. The 46 flights recorded from June 20 to June 22 and the five flights on August 18 were both from incomplete weeks and are excluded from seven-day comparisons. The available full-week sequence shows that flight volume in mid-August remained 88 flights below the July peak.
Impact: For Gestair, the decline in full-week flight volume from 149 flights to 53, followed by a recovery to only 61, means that scheduling, crew duty assignments, and managed-aircraft deployment need to adapt to lower weekly task volumes. If resources continue to be allocated based on the July 14–20 peak, personnel and aircraft availability windows may experience temporary idle periods. For its service providers, three consecutive weeks below 111 flights will also alter the near-term cadence of ground handling and procurement demand.
Recommendation: Gestair can use 61 flights as a near-term low-end benchmark for scheduling while retaining flexible teams capable of handling weekly demand of 89–111 flights, rather than continuing to allocate fixed resources based on the peak of 149 flights. The next priority should be to monitor the first two consecutive full weeks after August 18 to determine whether flight volume can remain above the 61 flights recorded from August 11 to August 17 before adjusting September crew and duty arrangements.
