✈️ Flexjet’s Atlanta Growth Concentrated at DeKalb
Flexjet’s flight activity increased at both Atlanta airports, but most of the additional activity was concentrated at DeKalb–Peachtree Airport (KPDK). Avi-Go data show that, counting each complete flight leg as one movement when an airport served as either the origin or destination, Flexjet recorded 341 movements at KPDK from August 21 to September 20, 2026, up 26 movements, or 8.25%, from 315 movements between July 21 and August 20, 2026. During the same period, activity at Fulton County Airport (KFTY) increased from 30 to 35 movements, a rise of 5 movements, or 16.7%. Both periods comprised a full 31 days. Although KFTY posted the higher growth rate, KPDK recorded both greater flight volume and a larger absolute increase. The current window shows synchronized growth at both airports, while the operational focus remains concentrated at KPDK.
Impact: For Flexjet, KPDK contributed 306 more movements than KFTY during the latter period, meaning its crew connections, aircraft turnarounds, and ground service requirements continue to account for the main share of the operator’s Atlanta operations. KFTY’s increase of 5 movements also provides local service providers with a specific baseline for monitoring the pace of the operator’s activity expansion.
Recommendation: Flexjet could review the high-frequency dates, flight directions, and turnaround periods associated with KPDK’s 26 additional movements and adjust local crew and ground coordination arrangements accordingly. It should also continue tracking KFTY using complete 31-day windows to determine whether its volume of 35 movements is sustained, avoiding changes to resource allocation between the two airports based solely on a 16.7% increase from a small base.
