🏈 Dallas–Austin Event Charters Launch Three Consecutive Flights

Game Day Private Jets plans to launch three Dallas–Austin–Dallas by-the-seat event charter products on October 17, 24, and 31, 2026, serving travelers attending games in Austin. The flights on October 17 and 31 will be operated by PlaneSmart! Aviation using a Pilatus PC-12, while the October 24 product will be marketed as the “VIP Shuttle.” All three products are same-day round-trip services tied to specific event dates. Avi-Go data show that from July 6 to September 20, 2026, 1,452 business aviation flight movements were recorded between Austin’s KAUS and KEDC airports and the Dallas–Fort Worth area’s KDAL, KADS, KDFW, KRBD, and KAFW airports. Of these, 720 movements were from Austin to Dallas and 732 were in the reverse direction, with each completed one-way flight counted as one movement. The nearly balanced two-way traffic provides an existing customer base for by-the-seat sales, although the products on the three designated dates remain event-specific travel offerings.

Impact: For Game Day Private Jets and PlaneSmart! Aviation, the existing traffic volume of 1,452 movements means the product is not starting from scratch in developing demand between the two cities. Using the PC-12 for two of the flights will also allow the operator to evaluate by-the-seat sales, passenger load management, and round-trip scheduling effectiveness in a same-day event travel scenario.

Recommendation: The operator could separately track the seat sell-through rate, overlap between outbound and return customer groups, and booking pace close to departure for October 17, 24, and 31, while comparing the sales performance of the PC-12 flights with that of the VIP Shuttle. Any subsequent decision to add more event dates should be based on the actual sales and repeat-purchase data from these three flights.
