✈️ Toronto Pearson’s 30-Day Business Aircraft Movements Rise to 2,391

Toronto Pearson International Airport’s airport information, updated on August 21, 2026, continues to list Skyservice, Signature, and Customs-CANPASS services, while noting that ramp fees may apply. The Canada Border Services Agency previously published general arrival-reporting procedures for the CANPASS Private Aircraft and Corporate Aircraft programs on April 23, 2025, providing a reporting process for eligible aircraft. Avi-Go data show that CYYZ recorded 2,391 business aircraft movements from July 24 to August 22, 2026, up 43 movements, or 1.8%, from 2,348 during the period from June 24 to July 23, 2026. Departures increased from 1,182 to 1,213, up 2.6%, while arrivals rose from 1,166 to 1,178, up 1.0%. Both windows cover a full 30 days. At the airport level, each departure and each arrival is counted as one movement, and the data indicate moderate growth.

Impact: The additional 43 movements mean that Skyservice and Signature need to handle a higher operational volume within their existing ground-service systems. With departures increasing by 31 movements and arrivals by 12, outbound support accounts for the greater share of the growth. For business aircraft customers clearing international arrivals at CYYZ, Customs-CANPASS remains an important component of the airport’s current service offering.

Recommendation: In light of the outbound operational scale represented by 1,213 departures, Skyservice and Signature could review fueling, towing, and passenger-connection arrangements during peak periods, while advising customers in advance of ramp fees in line with the airport’s notice. Going forward, it will be worthwhile to monitor changes in CYYZ departures and arrivals across rolling 30-day windows, as well as the ability of the existing service configuration to absorb additional traffic.
