✈️ CSI Aviation’s Growth Concentrated at KABQ
CSI Aviation’s business aircraft flight volume increased sharply over the past 30 days, with most of the growth concentrated at Albuquerque International Sunport (KABQ). Avi-Go data show that, counting each completed flight as one flight, the operator completed 257 flights from August 10 to September 8, 2026, an increase of 122 flights, or 90.4%, from 135 flights between July 11 and August 9, 2026. Departures from KABQ increased from 6 to 82 flights, contributing 76 flights, or 62.3% of the net increase. Over the same period, Gallup Municipal Airport (KGUP) increased from 3 to 24 flights, Taos Regional Airport (KSKX) from 2 to 12 flights, Las Cruces International Airport (KLRU) from 3 to 11 flights, and Santa Fe Regional Airport (KSAF) from 2 to 9 flights. All five airports with the largest increases are located in New Mexico, indicating a clear concentration of the operator’s latest expansion at specific nodes.
Impact: KABQ accounted for most of CSI Aviation’s newly added flights during this period, and its requirements for crew rotations, aircraft turnarounds, and ground support will increase significantly compared with the previous window. KGUP, KSKX, KLRU, and KSAF added a combined 46 flights, also expanding the operator’s need for operational coordination among multiple locations in New Mexico.
Recommendation: CSI Aviation should review crew scheduling, standby coverage, and transit support arrangements based on the 76 additional flights at KABQ, while continuing to compare 30-day departure volumes after September 9, 2026. If KABQ and the other four growth airports maintain similar levels, regional resource allocations should then be adjusted based on data from consecutive windows.
