302 Legs Do Not Prove Business Jet Growth

✈️ Cemair Records 302 Flights Across Two Aircraft Types

Cemair’s aircraft-type records from August 31 to September 29, 2026, were concentrated in the CRJ-200 and Beech 1900D. Avi-Go data shows that, counting each flight leg completed by the operator as one flight, the CRJ-200 recorded 163 flights and the Beech 1900D recorded 139, for a total of 302. Flight volumes for the two aircraft types were close in this set of records: the former recorded 24 more flights than the latter, accounting for approximately 54% and 46% of the total, respectively. These figures show Cemair’s flight activity by aircraft type and should not be used directly as a measure of growth in its business aviation operations.

Impact: For ground support providers planning services based on flight data, the 302 flights can help show how Cemair’s activity across these two aircraft types was distributed during the period, but they cannot be used directly to gauge the scale of demand for business-aviation-specific support. If all aircraft-type flight records are counted as business aviation demand, the basis used for resource allocation will be distorted.

Recommendation: When developing a business-aviation-specific support plan for Cemair, first verify the intended use of the aircraft for each of the 302 recorded flights, then separately total the relevant CRJ-200 and Beech 1900D flights. Until that verification is complete, use the figures of 163 and 139 flights to describe activity by aircraft type, and do not use the total of 302 flights to determine the scale of resources dedicated to business aviation.
