💳 JetPay-Nuvion Targets Blue Ocean of Nearly 2.95 Million Cross-Border Charter Settlements
Avi-Go data shows that from early 2026 through July 7, global cross-border business charter takeoffs and landings reached 2.9498 million, climbing steadily from 422,300 in January to a year-to-date peak of 519,300 in June, with March up 14.0% month-over-month and continuous increases from April to June. This vast and highly multi-currency capital flow is precisely the market targeted by the global charter payment system recently launched through the collaboration between JetPay and Nuvion—the top 10 cross-border countries totaled 5.1117 million takeoffs and landings, with the United States accounting for 80.30% at 4.1049 million, followed by Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and European markets including France, the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain, involving multiple currencies such as USD, EUR, BRL, and CAD. According to the 2026-06 monthly report, France's cross-border related takeoffs and landings surged 44.16% month-over-month that month, with summer settlement demand further amplified.
Impact: Multi-currency instant settlement combined with escrow and automated reconciliation is expected to compress the traditional T+2/3 wire transfer chain, shorten the time gap for brokers' cross-border receipts and payments, and ease peak-season cash flow pressure; it also reduces manual costs for currency exchange and reconciliation.
Recommendation: Cross-border charter brokers may pilot this platform on major transatlantic routes before the peak season in Q3 2026, comparing actual settlement times and rates; FBOs and operators should assess integration feasibility before September, with specific rates and time improvements subject to official disclosure.
