Texas A&M-Fort Worth will host "The Future of [Advanced Aviation](/entities/ed74b23b4d8e5653b89c9fb8e530635d)," part of its Voices That Innovate Speaker Series presented by PNC Bank, on Tuesday, August 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Kimbell Art Museum Piano Pavilion in Fort Worth. A networking reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 6:30 p.m., with free registration open to the public.

Co-hosted with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Center for Advanced Aviation Technologies, the event brings together leaders from industry, higher education and government to discuss autonomous aircraft, uncrewed aircraft systems, next-generation aerospace technologies, workforce development and economic growth in North Texas. Panelists will represent Hillwood Aviation, Reliable Robotics, CAAT, Texas A&M-Fort Worth and the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Autonomy Research Institute.

Dr. Kim McCuistion, associate vice chancellor and director of Texas A&M-Fort Worth, said advanced aviation is transforming how people and goods move, how research is conducted and how the workforce is prepared. Michael Sanders, executive director for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi's Autonomy Research Institute, said the panel aims to accelerate innovation, strengthen research collaborations and prepare the workforce for one of the nation's fastest-evolving industries. PNC Bank's Southwest Territory Executive Dale Klose noted aviation has been part of Fort Worth's history for more than a century and said the event positions Fort Worth as central to the future of flight.
