Motorola Solutions has completed its acquisition of counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) technology firm D-Fend Solutions, which uses RF cyber-takeover technology, for a purchase price of USD 1.5 billion. Autonomous Power Corporation (Powerus) has secured a contract valued at approximately USD 22.3 million to provide networked C-UAS detection, tracking and classification services protecting oil and gas infrastructure in the Middle East, while Ukraine's defence ministry added Alexa Spatium, described as the country's first jet-powered drone interceptor, to its Defence Forces' arsenal.

US radar manufacturer Observation Without Limits (OWL) launched the GA730LR radar for C-UAS, unmanned air system traffic management and beyond visual line of sight applications, and the Oregon UAS Accelerator announced 17 companies, including some working on C-UAS lasers and traffic awareness systems, joining its 12-week Fall 2026 Cohort. Swarmer, Inc announced a strategic partnership with and equity investment in Vectus Air Defense Systems to develop layered C-UAS systems, Rheinmetall Air Defence and Hensoldt integrated passive sensor technology into an air defence system during a German Air Force exercise, AeroVironment said it will establish an industrial presence in Greece through joint venture AV Eagle with Eyeonix SA, and the Romanian Gendarmerie awarded a C-UAS contract to Neramo Distribution for civil protection and high-risk law enforcement operations.
